TaxPilot was born from a simple frustration: why does filing taxes have to be so complicated and expensive? Our co-founders — a former IRS agent and a machine learning engineer — believed AI could make tax preparation accessible to everyone, not just those who could afford expensive accountants.
Today, TaxPilot serves over 1.4 million Americans, has secured more than $3.2 billion in refunds, and consistently finds an average of $1,200 more per return compared to manual filing. We're proud to be an IRS Authorized e-File Provider with a 99.8% accuracy rate.
